5 Local Woman-Owned Businesses We Love

September 22 is National Business Womenโ€™s Day!

September 22 is National American Business Women’s Day celebrating the founding of the American Business Women’s Association on that day in 1949. 

Macaroni KID Franklin wants to share some of our favorite local, woman-owned businesses in the Franklin, Thompson’s Station, and Spring Hill areas. We love these local business owners because they offer services in the community that parents like you are looking for whether it’s a creative class, a health care service, or an awesome birthday party experience.


Arise Therapies

Owner: Loriann Schwartz 

What they do: Arise Therapies offers pediatric and adult speech-language, occupational, and feeding therapy in Spring Hill, TN. Accepts most major insurance carriers!


Music City All Stars Dance

Owners: Kirsten Hawk and Valerie Reynolds

What they do: Music City All Stars teaches dance at both the recreational and competitive levels. They also offer ballerina birthday parties, camps and themed parties throughout the year!


TN Art Yard

Owner: Lacy Ezell

What she does: Lacy teaches art classes from ages 1-12 in the Thompson’s Station, Hendersonville, and Nashville areas. Lacy also created an amazing art curriculum parents can use at home with their kids. Contact Lacy for details.

Creative Escape Paint Parties

Owner: Isabelle Diaz

What she does: Isabelle hosts paint parties at various locations around Spring Hill and Franklin as well as kids’ birthday parties, girls’ nights, or whatever event you like! Isabelle also sells individual paint kits you can do at home.


Spring Hill Enrichment Center

Owner: Brandi Alderson

What they do: Spring Hill Enrichment center located right off Main Street in Spring Hill provides 8-week long enrichment courses for homeschoolers in subjects such as art, STEM, and reading as well as art classes for adults and seniors. They also host a weekly music night every Friday night called Performance on the Porch which features a different local music artist every week.
