Meet Nā€™ Greet

New publisher

By Yvonne Vigil February 1, 2024

Welcome to the Brentwood, Franklin, Spring Hill Macaroni under a new Publisher, my name is Yvonne Vigil.

I myself have been an active subscriber to this newsletter and site for many years now, so to be able to be a part of the resource from the creative side of the company is an incredible opportunity. I have been a part of the childcare/early childhood education community for over 12+ years now. I’ve had the wonderful opportunities to babysit for countless of families, been a private nanny across the greater Nashville area, as well as being an Early Childhood educator at Primrose of Maryland Farms and currently I am a Preschool teacher at The Academy of Forrest Crossings in Franklin. I absolutely have a great passion for working with children and families and I have known this to be my calling from a very young age.

I was born and raised for the first 13 years of my life in Thousand Oaks, California; when my parents decided they’d love a change and they picked up our lives and we moved across the country to Franklin, Tennessee. This was a culture shock to say the least, I was enrolled at Independence High School and graduated in 2010. I continued my education locally at Columbia State Community College, mostly at the Franklin location, for my associates in elementary education. I also attended Belmont University for Early Childhood education; and while at Belmont I had the wonderful opportunity to march with the Vanderbilt’s Spirit of Gold, I was a part of the Spirit of Gold Colorguard team for 2 seasons.

My passion for working with children I have no doubt came from having a big family, 3 brothers. I was also surrounded by many cousins in the states and in Mexico. My hope is to integrate my bilingual side into the site and bring new opportunities to the community and possibly expand our audience. I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful community; as well as becoming a bigger part of our wonderful community. I hope to meet all the high expectations I have for the site and I welcome any suggestions and appreciate the patience you have all had with the transition of publishers. With my background and love for children I believe this will be an incredible partnership.

Once again, I appreciate your patience and look forward to filling your days with lots of family fun for the year to come!
