1. We Rock the Spectrum - Grand Opening - Franklin - Saturday, February 5
Opening Day of We Rock the Spectrum! Drop in and celebrate with a trampoline, zip line, swings, music, and delicious treats from local neighborhood businesses.
2. Hattie Jane’s Ice Cream for Breakfast Pajama Party - Franklin/Columbia - Saturday, February 5
Saturday, Feb. 5, marks National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, and Hattie Jane’s is celebrating with a Pajama Party! The Columbia, Franklin and Murfreesboro scoop shops will be serving flavors from Hattie Jane’s new breakfast series, including Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll, Pancakes & Blueberry Maple Syrup, Biscuits & Sorghum, Mimosa Sorbet and Mulekick Coffee, along with hot coffee, milkshakes, baked treats and other Hattie Jane’s specialty flavors.
3. Tennessee Storytime: The Great Race: The Story of the Chinese Zodiac - Nashville - Saturday, February 5th
For parents, grandparents and caregivers with young children ages 3-6, we invite you to join us for Tennessee Storytime. This is a great place for children to hear Miss Morgan read books related to our state’s people, culture, and history. Be sure to take advantage of some Tennessee-themed activities and crafts related to the books.
This week, let’s learn about the Chinese New Year and the part that each animal plays in the celebration.
4. Teddy Bear Music Class - Nashville - Monday, February 7th
This drop-in music class is Teddy Bear themed! It is a 45 min class outside by the Warner Park Nature Center in Nashville, TN. Bring your child’s favorite stuffed animal to class! We will be singing to them, reading to them, and dancing with them.
5. Preschool Ballet Class - Spring Hill - Thursday, February 10th
Littles are invited to dance with Ballerina Ashley Self at this free dance class. Ashley teaches ballet locally and is excited to share the joy of moving gracefully to music. Geared for ages 3-6 but all ages welcome.
