Post-holiday Purge! Donate, consign, or recycle in Williamson County

A Macaroni KID Franklin Community Guide

By Heather Griffin, Publisher January 9, 2022

It happens every year. The shopping frenzy of the holidays. The excitement of giving and receiving gifts. The joy on their little faces as they play with their new toys. And then...

All the empty cardboard boxes. All the torn wrapping paper. And all the other toys, clothes, and books from years past that are no longer played with, or worn, or read. These items hold sentimental value (well, maybe not the boxes and torn wrapping paper), but you're tired of them taking up space in your house.

We've put together a list of places in Brentwood, Franklin, and Spring Hill that accept gently used items for consignment, donation, or trade where you can also feel good about giving back to the community. And for your convenience, we've also added a list of recycling locations in Williamson County for regular recycling products as well as electronics and hazardous waste.
