Photo Search: Williamson County Parks & Playgrounds

Do you have an AWESOME photo you'd love to see on a Macaroni KID Franklin Community Guide?

By Heather Griffin July 27, 2021

Macaroni KID Franklin is putting together a community guide to the BEST parks & playgrounds in Williamson County and we need your help!

What is a community guide?

Community guides are a great resource for parents in Franklin, Spring Hill and beyond. They help parents find the best places to take their children to have fun... and what makes them even better are beautiful images that showcase what makes each park and playground unique and fun. If your phone is filled up with images of the awesome adventures you've had with your kids around Franklin and Spring Hill, then you probably know how great it feels to find a NEW local spot to play. Here's your chance to help other parents find their family fun at our best parks and playgrounds in Brentwood, Franklin, Thompson's Station, and Spring Hill by submitting YOUR photos!

How do I get my photo considered?

First of all, you must be a subscriber to have your photos considered for publication. If you are not a current subscriber, click here. Don't worry, it's FREE, and you can opt out at any time.

Next, follow these steps:

Step 1Check out our community guide to see the current list of parks and playgrounds on our list to see what we're looking for. If you know of an awesome park or playground that is NOT on our list, but should be -- let me know!

Step 2. Send an email to mackidfranklin@macaronikid.com with the following:

  • Subject: Photo Search: [Name of Park]
  • Attach: JPG or PNG file of your photo
  • Email body: Brief Description of your photo (i.e., what event were you attending, why you love this park, etc...)
  • Be sure to include your name and how you would like to be credited.

Step 3. If your photo is chosen, you will be notified via email and asked to sign a photo release. For privacy reasons, photos containing children other than your own will not be considered.

Photo guidelines:

  • JPG or PNG file preferred. *NO PDFs please.
  • File size: 1MB or less
  • Landscape orientation is preferred but not required.
  • Photo should clearly represent the park or playground you are photographing (i.e., playground structures, pavilions, or other unique features).
  • Photos do NOT have to feature yourself or your children, but they can (see above statement on photo release).
  • Photos must be your own, not professionally taken.

It's that simple! Your photo could be the one that is viewed by all of our lovely readers in Franklin, Spring Hill, and beyond!
