1. Princess & Superhero Book Readings @ The Treehouse

Kick off your long weekend by surprising your Frozen fans with an Elsa story time at Monkey's Treehouse on July 2 at 10:30am! Included with the cost of membership or day pass.

2. Franklin Art Crawl

The Franklin Art Crawl is BACK! Starting this Friday, July 3, and every other first Friday of the month after that, you can stroll through Franklin Art Scene's tour of art galleries, working studios, and businesses in Historic Downtown Franklin.

3. Kiwanis Minigolf Par-tee

Kiwanis Club of Spring Hill is throwing an early Independence Day party at Port Royal Park in Spring Hill on Saturday, July 3 from 10am-4pm. There will be bounce houses, corn hole, food trucks, games and more! Admission is $5.

4. Star Spangled Celebration

Can't wait 'til the 4th to see fireworks? Nolensville Park is hosting its Star Spangled Celebration, July 3 from 6pm to 10pm. Expect live music, food trucks, inflatables, and of course, FIREWORKS!

5. 4th of July Bicycle Parade

Another long-standing tradition returning this year is the Spring Hill Bike Parade--this year taking place in Port Royal Park, July 4th at 9 am. Decorate your bike in patriotic colors and join in the parade!

6. Franklin on the Fourth/Independence Day Celebration

Franklin's 4th of July bash starts at 11am on Sunday, July 4th with live music, good food, and the kids parade at 5pm. After the parade, head over to Harlinsdale Farm to find your family a good spot to view the fireworks show. I have a feeling it's going to be epic this year.

7. Red, White, and Boom in Brentwood

For those of you a little north of Franklin, Crockett Park in Brentwood will be doing it's 4th of July celebration from 6pm-9pm. Live music can be seen from Eddy Arnold Amphitheater, but be sure to stick around for... you guessed it--FIREWORKS!

8. Maury County Park Fireworks

Maury County Park in Columbia will be shooting their fireworks from the top of the hill in the park--perfect for viewing. Bring your family, a blanket, and maybe a pair of noise-cancelling head phones for your teeny-tiny ones.

9. Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th

If you are feeling adventurous this year, why not head into Nashville for their epic all-day 4th of July celebration! Brad Paisley is headlining this year, but if you don't feel like sticking around super late, there's plenty of family fun to be had throughout the day. Click here for more info.

10. Nashville Children's Theatre presents Charlotte's Web

If you missed the return of Nashville Children's Theatre and their presentation of Charlotte's Web, you still have a few more chances to check it out! They will be performing weekends through July 17th at West Glow Farm in Kingston Springs, TN.
