Read on to find out…

Here are Macaroni Kid Franklin's top picks for the five things to do with kids in Williamson County from June 25-July 1! Click on the links for all the details!

1. Nashville Children's Theatre presents Charlotte's Web

Nashville Children's Theatre is BACK for their first production since March 2020. The beloved children's book, Charlotte's Web by E.B. White, will be performed at West Glow Farm in Kingston Springs, TN to allow for ample space and social distancing. There are multiple showings between June 26 - July 17, so hurry and purchase your tickets now before they sell out!

2. Watermelon Festival

Lucky Ladd Farms is helping you celebrate the arrival of summer by offering FREE watermelon slices to visitors on June 26. Cool off in their Splash Zone and enjoy games and (maybe) prizes in their Watermelon Crawl and Watermelon Eating Contests! General admission tickets can be purchased on their website.

3. Tennessee Vintage Baseball

Head on over to Rippavilla Plantation in Spring Hill this weekend and check out a truly unique experience--Tennessee Vintage Baseball revisits 19th century baseball traditions in live games using the same rules, uniforms, and equipment as players in the 1860s. You have two opportunities to witness this fun, nostalgic event on Sunday, June 27 -- 11am and again at 2pm.

4. Family Movie Night @ Blame's Treats and More

One of Spring Hill's newest places to get a sweet treat, Blame's Treats and More, offers unique ice cream creations (as well as your old faves) and a special family movie event on Friday night. Walk up, order your treat, and find a spot on the patio for a movie you and your tweens and teens will surely enjoy!

5. Zoo Storytime with Miss Lindsay

We are excited to see in-person programming slowly coming back to the Williamson Public Library's different branches. This coming Tuesday, June 29, you can attend a zoo-inspired story time with Miss Lindsay at the Nolensville branch. Don't forget to dress your little one up as his/her favorite animal!
