In a few short months, my baby girl - my curious and inquisitive 4-year-old - will be a Kindergartener. It's a fact I haven't quite come to terms with just yet. As the clock ticks down, I find myself treasuring each special moment even more than I have before. As a family, we have committed to being more intentional about spending time together and creating memories because my mom was right - the years fly by faster and faster.
One of our favorite ways to spend time together is to have a family game night! Whether it's a card game, a board game or a video game, both of my girls love game night, but often my preschooler checks out fairly quickly because many game are too difficult for her. She can be on a team with my husband or I, but it's not quite the same. Thanks to Ravensburger, my preschooler can now be on her own team and easily participate in Inch Worms, a creative game that both my 4-year-old and 8-year-old gave a thumbs up.
The game is super easy to play, as my daughters explain:
Not only is the game fun, but it's also prepping my little one for Kindergarten by promoting color recognition, counting and collaborative play. Inch Worms is a quick game, which makes it ideal for kids with a short attention span. There are also two ways to play, colors or numbers, which gives it variety.
Want to add Inch Worms to your family game night? Inch Worms is available exclusively at Wal-Mart and retails for $14.99. It's recommended for ages 3 and up and is perfect for your preschooler's Easter basket!
