Family Day at Deer Run is less than two weeks away! Your family can experience laughter, cheer each other on and create memories while participating in a variety of exciting recreational choices. There will be Deer Run giveaways every half hour plus free balloon animals and free face painting.
Family Day has great options for all ages and for only $10 per person which is the early registration price until 5 p.m. on April 5 when the price increases to $12 per person. Age 4 and under are free. Traverse the 45-ft climbing tower, zoom around the track on pedal karts, go to the shooting range for archery and BB guns, and choose from numerous other ways to have fun together including wagon rides, bank fishing, cornhole, crafts, hiking and more. Food trucks are on site for lunch including Mojo’s Tacos and Ellie’s Old Fashioned Donuts, and music is provided throughout the day by 88.7 WAY-FM. The Camp Store will be open for snacks, beverages, merchandise and apparel. Stop by the Creekside Veranda for the Patio Sale for some great bargains on camp apparel.
Grade 3 and up (including adults) can sign up for Leap of Faith (no additional charge), Archery Tag ($5pp), Giant Swing ($5pp) and Zip Line Adventures ($20pp).
Come-and-go guided walking tours of the camp facilities from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. are free to everyone — even those not participating in Family Day. No reservations are needed. Meet the camp directors and some of the summer staff. It’s a great way to know more about our camps before you register or before you arrive this summer if you have already registered.
