"Stuffed" Shelter Offers Thanksgiving Special

$10 Adoptions Wednesday (Nov. 21) and Saturday (Nov. 24)

By Submitted Content November 20, 2018

We are stuffed at Williamson County Animal Center (WCAC) in Franklin, and it’s not with turkeys! We are filled with 111 adoptable animals: 38 dogs, 66 cats, 5 rabbits and 2 tiny mice! And, just like your waistline after Thanksgiving dinner, we need to free up some space!

All adoptions (excluding puppies) will be $10 during the ‘We are stuffed’ event, on Wednesday, November 21 and Saturday, November 24. Come by the shelter and let us introduce you to the perfect pet for your family. If you are looking for a dog, our adoption counselors can help you find a couch companion, a running buddy or a loyal lap dog. For cat lovers, we have super chill older cats, playful kittens and a few divas.

Williamson County Animal Center is open Wednesday, November 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The shelter will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23. Adoptable animals can be viewed at adoptwcac.org or follow us on Facebook. The shelter is located at 106 Claude Yates Dr., next to Franklin High School.

PET OF THE WEEK: Carolynn

Carolynn is a two-year old terrier mix. Things are getting a little crowded at the shelter, and Carolynn would like wide open spaces to play in at a forever home. You can meet Carolynn at Williamson County Animal Center during the $10 'We are stuffed!' event, November 21 and 24.
