Last week I was returning home from a playdate with my 2.5 year old daughter when she asked if we could stop at "Chickie-A." I've been trying to make more meals at home, so we don't eat a whole lot of fast food, but she loves Chick-Fil-A and will point it out if we pass it on the way to wherever it is we are going on a given day.
So I decided to treat her and drove up to the Chick-Fil-A on Mallory Lane only to find out it was under renovation and closed until late June. Oops! I hadn't realized it was closed this month! I contacted a local representative and she gave me the scoop on the remodel. The restaurant is expanding the kitchen and remodeling the interior. The location is scheduled to reopen on or around June 27. In the meantime, if you're craving Chick-Fil-A, you can visit the three other locations in the area (Brentwood - 330 Franklin Rd, Cool Springs Galleria - 1800 Galleria Blvd Ste 3060 or South Franklin - 2016 Columbia Avenue).
One thing to add to your calendar if you are a Chick-Fil-A fan ... the Mallory Lane location will be having a Grand Re-opening Luau Party in the parking lot on Saturday, July 13 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. DJ Doug Griffin (from 94.1 the Fish) will be there and kids can enjoy a bounce house, games and more!
