Macaroni Kid Review: Pampers Unveils Updated Baby Dry Diapers!

By Stephanie Duhon, Publisher (Sponsored Content) May 10, 2017

"My dolls like the diapers too, Mama!" my 2-year-old proudly exclaimed as I walked into her room. I looked down at where she was pointing to see she had put Pampers Baby Dry diapers on three of her baby dolls. She was so excited and said she wanted them to wear Elmo diapers, just like her.

As you can probably tell, my daughter is a fan of these diapers and I am too. Pampers Baby Dry is a brand I have used many times, especially when my girls were very little as they keep baby nice and dry without leaking. Many other parents also know and trust Pampers Baby Dry diapers and the diapers they are used to seeing is getting an update.

I recently had an opportunity to try out some of the new diapers. We used some of the diapers during the day and saved a few for night to test their ability to keep baby dry overnight. Upon first glance, the diapers look and feel much thinner. That's because they now feature the extra absorb channels featured in Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers. I was actually surprised at how thin they are, probably because I am used to them being a bit thicker. The size 5 diapers fit my daughter perfectly and I was so glad to discover they not only offer the same comfort and protection as before, but the thinner design also means they are less bulky. I love the new look and feel of the diapers because it makes her clothes fit better and seems much more comfortable for my very active toddler. Her favorite feature of the diaper? That Elmo is on it.

One other great advantage? They work great at night. My daughter is pretty sensitive to a wet diaper, especially overnight as a wet diaper has woken her up on occasion. Pampers Baby Dry kept her dry all night long each night we used it, giving up to 12 hours of overnight protection.

Right now, only sizes 5 and 6 are available in the updated design. Pampers will be rolling out the smaller sizes over the next few month, so you'll start seeing them appear on store shelves on a rolling basis until all sizes are available by December 2017. So if you don't see your baby's size on the shelf, don't worry, it'll be there soon!
