Join Lil Swee-Tea Party for a very special Christmas Tea Party! This 2 hour event features a Christmas Themed Tablescape, Porcelain china with gold fork & spoons, Children Flavored Tea & Lemonade, Christmas Themed Tea Treats, a Dress up Trunk with hats, boas and pearls, 2 crafts, a group photo keepsake and more!

Dickens of a Christmas
Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 15 from noon - 5 p.m.
Historic Downtown Franklin

Free and open to the public

Historic Downtown Franklin is transported back in time to the Victorian Era for Dickens of a Christmas. This free, holiday-themed street festival features characters such as Ebenezer Scrooge, Marley, Tiny Tim Cratchit and his family and more.

Activities include:
-Horse drawn carriage rides around Public Square for $2/person
-Holiday bazaar arts and crafts show
-Dancers and street musicians on Main Street
-Victorian treats, such as fish 'n' chips, turkey legs, kettle corn, sugar plums and more
-Town sing starting at the Public Square town Christmas tree at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday with candles ($1 donation requested for candle) and song sheets

Hands on History - Christmas in Carrie's Attic
Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Hands On History allows children a glimpse into the way people lived during the Civil War. In this session, children will learn about how Christmas was celebrated during the mid-1800s, listen to 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and make some Christmas decorations. For children ages 5- 10.
